QRV, our new branch, represents a summary of experience of an Italian family, which has devoted three generations to solid wood bending. Among the woodworking processes, solid wood bending is one of the most complex and requires time and know-how.

QRV products stand for synthesis between experience, technology and creative ability. The original concept, was to bend virgin boards with no preliminary wood processing. The boards often maintain size, shape and even the bark of the original tree. Thanks to Vietnamese art of weaving we have created a fusion between wood, fabric and rope in a “Minimal” way, including simplicity and comfort. 

For this reason QRV is characterized mainly by its material; the wood maintains its natural state, its original aspect has not been modified, coloured nor spoiled in any way. Indeed, the specific characteristics of each material are emphasized and represent the aesthetic value of the product.

The “natural” feature of the product is re-established as a complete sensorial, visual, tactile and even olfactory experience. For this purpose particular attention is dedicated to the finishing

method. Broadleaved wood such as oak, cherry, ash, maple and beech are used in QRV products. Each type of wood requires a different finishing method, depending on the porosity of the surface.
